Temporary Curbside Appointments

Temporary Curbside Appointments

To allow for exciting improvements to our hospital, we will be temporarily providing curbside appointments beginning August 8 while construction is underway.

This temporary process allows us to continue providing exceptional veterinary care while keeping our clients, patients, and team members safe throughout the project. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

What to Expect

Our curbside process is simple and designed to make your visit as smooth as possible.

1. Arrive and Call

When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please park in our parking lot and call the hospital to let us know you've arrived.

A member of our veterinary team will confirm your arrival, gather any preliminary information about your pet's visit, and let you know when we're ready to bring your pet inside.

2. Prepare Your Pet

For everyone's safety, please have your pet ready before a team member approaches your vehicle.

  • Dogs should be wearing a secure, properly fitted leash.
  • Cats and other small pets should remain safely secured in a carrier.
  • Exotic pets should also be transported in an appropriate, secure enclosure.

For safety reasons, our staff cannot retrieve pets from inside your vehicle. We appreciate your help in having your pet ready when we come to your car.

3. Your Pet's Appointment

A member of our veterinary team will safely escort your pet into the hospital for their examination and any necessary diagnostics or treatments.

While your pet is receiving care, you can remain comfortably in your vehicle.

4. Communication During the Visit

Our veterinarians and technicians will keep you informed throughout your pet's appointment.

If treatment, diagnostics, or medications are recommended, we'll call you to discuss:

  • Examination findings
  • Medical recommendations
  • Treatment options
  • Cost estimates
  • Any questions you may have before proceeding

We will always discuss recommended care with you before moving forward.

Tips for a Smooth Visit

To help make your appointment as efficient as possible, we recommend the following:

Bring Your Questions

  • Make a written list of any concerns you'd like to discuss.
  • Include any changes you've noticed, such as new lumps or bumps, changes in appetite, behavior, mobility, or other symptoms.
  • If you prefer, you may email your questions to us before your appointment.

Keep Your Phone Nearby

  • Please ensure your cell phone is fully charged.
  • Turn your ringer on so you don't miss calls from our team.
  • Remain close to your vehicle throughout the appointment so we can reach you if needed.

Help Keep Everyone Safe

  • Dogs should remain on a secure leash until a staff member takes over.
  • Cats and other small pets should stay in their carrier until they are transferred to our team.
  • Please do not allow pets to roam freely in the parking lot.

Why Curbside?

While this process is temporary due to construction, curbside appointments offer several benefits. They help reduce wait times, minimize stress for many pets, and allow our team to focus on providing safe, efficient, and uninterrupted medical care during the renovation.

Our goal is to make this temporary transition as seamless as possible while continuing to provide the compassionate, high-quality care you expect from our team.

Thank You

We sincerely appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding while we complete these improvements. We're excited to continue caring for you and your pets during construction and look forward to welcoming everyone back inside once the project is complete.
